Leslie Ray Yarberry was born March 2, 1952, to Lester and Roberta (Hale) Yarberry in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on Tuesday May 27, 2025.
Leslie was a graduate of Dickson High School, class of 1970. He spent several years as a truck driver traveling all over the United States in his younger years. His true calling was as a carpenter. He worked construction and as a trusted contractor in Ardmore, Oklahoma for more than 30 years. Every time you pass a house he's worked on; he'd let you know. His favorite hobby was his Harley Davidson's and going on motorcycle rides. He also loved camping at the lake, fishing, gardening and cooking.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Roberta Yarberry, his sister Linda Sliger and his late-wife Donna Wilson.
Leslie is survived by his brother Roger Yarberry; his sister Becky Yarberry; his daughters Kenzi Black and her husband Ronald Black II; Christy Henson and her husband Zane Henson Sr.; his 7 grandchildren, Kaydince Black, Rhylinn Black, Rylie Yarberry, Adryanne Black, Zane Henson Jr, and Rocky Black; his 4 nieces Angela Edmonds; Amy Turner and her husband Tomey Turner; Whitney Hernandez and her husband Javier Hernandez; Katy Stewart and her husband Sonny Stewart; and 6 great-nieces and nephews, Glenda Edmonds, Christopher Edmonds, Becca Turner, Lyndsei Hernandez, Kyler Hernandez and Hadly Stewart.
There will be a gathering following the visitation on Sunday June 1, 2025 at Craddock Funeral Home from 2pm-4pm.
