Memorial services for Lester Ray Greathouse are scheduled for Wednesday, 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Ardmore with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.  The family will host a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 at Craddock Funeral Home in Ardmore.

Lester Ray Greathouse was born on May 22, 1963, to Evelyn Abernathy Cullum in Ardmore. He graduated from Plainview in the class of 1981. And worked at Michelin tire plant for nearly 30 years.

He met the love of his life, Lisa Renee Foster, and married her on Aug. 24, 1985.  Together they had 3 children: Cash, Cody, & Hannah.  He loved his family and always attended every sporting event or occasion.  Everyone who knew Lester knew he would give them the shirt off his back if they needed it.  He could fix almost anything, and if he couldn't, it was at least "Lester" fixed, for the day.  If you had a flat tire, he'd be the one pulling over to help change it.  He loved OU football and never missed a game on TV, often hosting fish fry's for friends and family.  As grandkids came, so did forts, slides, and swing sets.  All crafted by his hands and his heart, even as far as having to test the slide-out first.

Lester is survived by his wife, Lisa, son, Cash Greathouse and wife Rae, son, Cody Greathouse, and daughter, Hannah Stendel and husband John; grandkids, Kinsler, Creighton, & Crimson Greathouse; brother, Larry Greathouse and wife Kelly; in-laws Lewis and Jo Foster, brothers-in-law, Steve, Bobby, and Scotty Foster and their families, and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mom, Evelyn Abernathy Cullum, and brother, J.T. Greathouse.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Meadows, Mike Huggins, Lenny Walker, Pat Nicholson, Brad Beane, Keith Miles, and Buger Minyard.
