Funeral services for Linda Boston are scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Ardmore with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will host a visitation night at the Craddock Funeral Home from 5:00 to 6:30 pm Wednesday evening.

Linda Carol Montgomery Boston was born January 4, 1950 in Lawton, OK to John H. and Florence M. (Edwards) Montgomery.  She passed from this life on Sept. 30, 2019 in Ardmore, surrounded by her family.

Linda was raised in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1968. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Oklahoma State University. She married the love of her life, Jerry Boston, on August 12, 1972, in Lawton.

She was known by all who met her as a woman of strong faith, Linda loved the Lord with all her might and soul. Singing in the church choir was one of her greatest joys. Her family was the other great joy of her life, and she was at her happiest whenever and wherever they were together, especially spending time on the lake.

A compassionate and tireless caregiver, Linda cared for her grandparents, parents, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law when they each passed from this life. Her family and friends will always cherish the way she loved them unconditionally. They will also fondly remember the infamous birthday candle phone calls Linda made each year.

Linda was proud to be a Realtor. Since becoming a realtor in 1992, she has served as a member and director of the Board of Realtors, Past President, and Realtor of the Year. She was also a graduate of the Realtor Institute.

Linda is survived by her husband, Jerry of the home; son, Robbie Boston and Shawnna Brooks of Ardmore; daughter, Sarah Boston of Ardmore; sister, Connie Gowan and her husband, Darryl of Duncan, OK; brother-in-law, George Davis of Corinth, Tx; nieces and a nephew. Linda was also a Nana to two special children, Ethan and Kinzlee.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Greg Davis, Pete Keener, Vincent Brooks, Charles Pogue, Gene Thompson, and Darryl Gowan.
