Linda Ann (Cumming) Scheele was born September 20, 1948 to Mary Alice (Bovard) and Robert Donald Cumming in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She passed from this life on December 10, 2021 at the age of 73 in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

Linda grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School. Upon graduation she enrolled at Colorado State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. After graduation, she worked for several years as a dispatcher for the El Paso County Department of Transportation. During that time, she met her future husband, Robert. On June 28, 1975 she married Robert Scheele in Colorado Springs, CO. From this marriage they had one daughter, Sara. Linda and Robert were married and lived in Peyton, CO for 45 years until moving to Ardmore to be closer to their daughter and her family. Family was very important to Linda.

Linda enjoyed being around and working with animals from family pets to livestock. She had a passion for horses and riding. Linda also enjoyed camping and being in the outdoors. In addition to spending time outdoors, Linda was an avid reader and had a strong appreciation for literature. Linda's kindness and willingness to help people led her to volunteer at the Peyton School District and a local hospital.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Mary Cumming and her husband Robert Scheele.

She is survived by her daughter Sara Ward and her husband Eric of Ardmore and granddaughters Keira and Maya Ward.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
