Linda Catherine Shepard was born Linda Catherine Hart to Bill and Wilma Hart in San Pedro, CA on January 31, 1953. She passed from this Earth April 11, 2021 in Ardmore, OK.

Linda grew up and graduated from Paramount High School in Paramount, CA.

The family traveled as OTR Truck drivers and eventually settled in Springer, OK in 1977 where Linda started a career in manufacturing for Beetle Plastics. She later became an EMT and served Southern OK Ambulance Service for over 10 years where she met what she always referred to as her second family. In 2004 she started the final chapter of her career as a dispatcher for Carter County Sheriff's Department and retired in 2018.

In 2007 she married the love of her life, Phil Shepard and two families grew into one.

Linda enjoyed family time above all and traveling on cruises frequently. Her passing has left a huge void in the hearts of family and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind her husband Phillip D. Shepard of Lone Grove; 3 siblings, Randy Hart and his wife Tina of Wilson, OK, Debbie Hart of Indianapolis, IN, and Billy Hart and wife Judy of Kingston, OK. 2 children, Cathy Milligan and her husband Lynn of Elmore City, OK, and Tony Holly and his wife Shelly of Red Oak, OK; 2 step-children, Misty Hoage and her husband Matt of Springer, OK and Dwayne Shepard and his wife Sarah of Sayre, OK. Together Linda and Phil were blessed with 17 grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren at the time of her passing.

Memorial services for Linda are scheduled for Friday, April 16 ^th at 2 pm at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Pastor Roy Fountain officiating. The family will accept visitors Thursday evening from 6 to 7 pm at Craddock Funeral Home.
