Mark J. Silverman, 87, of Ardmore passed away peacefully on August 20, 2018.   Mark was born to Dr. Isadore Jerome Silverman and Helen Silverman in New York City on September, 18th 1931.  Mark served in the 310 Bomb Wing of the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  Following his service Mark settled in Ardmore and operated the Oasis Club at the Lake Murray Lodge through the 1960's and early 1970's.  For the decades that followed Mark worked as a Petroleum Landman throughout the country.  Mark was proceeded in death by his wife of 46 years, Mary Silverman.  He is survived by his sister Marian Bernstein, his son Jerry J. Silverman and many friends and family members that loved him very much.
