Memorial services for Marlee (Eaton) Hawes will be Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 2:00 at the First Baptist Church located at 225 1 st Ave. SW, Ardmore, OK 73401

Anyone wishing to visit with the family after the service may do so at the home of Rick and Tammie Hawes in Ardmore, Oklahoma

Marlee Elaine Eaton Hawes was born October 29, 1935 in Wellsville, New York to George and Mildred Eaton.

She married Ronald Hawes on May 8, 1954 in Geneva, Ohio and celebrated their 66 year of marriage this year.  She was mother to two daughters and two sons.

Marlee left this earth on September 6, 2020 at the age of 84 years old in Ardmore, Oklahoma where she had lived with her husband Ron since 2015.

From her birth until her death, she nourished those around her with love, her faith in God, and music.

Marlee was an avid Floral designer.  She loved working with flowers and even taught a class before working as the silk and dried floral designer for Michaels.  Marlee also worked for a floral shop in Rockwall, Texas.  When she wasn't designing flowers, Marlee loved spending time with her family.  She loved having cookouts, riding four wheelers, and laughing with her kids and grandkids.

Marlee was active in church with her husband and attended Faith Tabernacle, Church on the Rock, Lakeshore Church, Heritage Church and finally First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Hawes, Ardmore, Oklahoma, her daughter Rhonda Fields and husband Joe of Van Alstyne, Tx.  Her son Rick Hawes and wife Tammie of Ardmore, Ok and son Les Hawes and wife Shellie of Anna, Tx., and a son-in-law, John Hilty of Garland, Tx . Her sister Marna Mitchum and husband Dennis of Colorado, and her brother Paul Eaton of Texas.

Marlee leaves seven grandsons; Cary Sullivent and wife Tabatha, Jeffery Pittman, Richard Hawes and wife Rachel, Keith Eggenberg and wife Jeri, Jeb Hawes, Dakota Hawes, and Dallas Hawes.

She leaves five granddaughers; Faith Hilty, Heather Crouse and husband Brian, Alecia Sullivent, Haley Eggenberg, and Gracelin Hawes.

Marlee was grandmother to 13 great grandsons, 5 great granddaughters, and 5 great, great grandchildren .

She was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Marlee is preceded in death by her father, George Eaton, mother, Mildred Eaton, sisters, Judy Eaton and Joan Pittman, brother Jack Eaton and beloved daughter, Pam Hilty.
