Graveside funeral services for Martha Ann Willis will be at 2:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Ardmore with Bruce Kirby officiating.

Martha was born May 27, 1926, in Amarillo, Texas to John Bates and Amanda Lorraine Thomas.  Martha worked as a telephone operator for many years.  She enjoyed reading and always had a desire to be a librarian.  She worked for 8 years at the Air Force Base in Ardmore.  She loved dancing to country music, listening to music by Elvis Presley, and collecting doll dishes.  Her favorite food was fruit and her favorite color was pink.  She always stated that the most dramatic event in her life was World War II and when asked what was the most influential life advice that she could give was to "be good and work hard".

Martha was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Stephen Henson. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Henson of League City, Texas, Nancy Henson of Spring, Texas and Kristie Willis of Liberty, Texas.
