Mary Sue Cowan

Funeral services for Mary Sue Cowan are scheduled for Friday, August 9, 2019, at 10:00 am in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will host a visitation at the funeral home on Thursday evening at 6:30-7:30 pm.

Sue was born February 9, 1934, in Tuska, OK. to M.S. Ravan and Lois Robinson. She passed this life on August 6, 2019, at her residence in Ardmore, OK.

She and John Marshall Cowan were married on January 21, 1955 in Fox, OK.  Sue graduated from the University of Southeastern with a Bachelors of Science Degree. She taught business class for over 24 year at Ardmore high school and retired in 1991.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, M.S. and Lois Ravan. She is survived by her husband, John of the home; sons, John Cowan and wife, Lisa of Fort Worth, TX, Ted Cowan and wife, Lisa of Ardmore, OK; grandchildren, Scott Cowan of Fort Worth, TX, Cari Ralls and husband, Dale of Ardmore, OK, Mark Cowan of Fort Worth, TX, Katie Crooks and husband, Reed of Little Elm, TX; great grandchildren, Lily Ralls, Sadie Cowan and Addison Cowan.

Pallbearers will be Mark Cowan, Dr. Tom McCulloh, Bill Colman, Johnnie Burchett, Lee Piatt and Mark Cunningham.
