Memorial services for Nancy Diane Carroll will be Friday, March 31 st at 2:00 P.M at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Bruce Kirby officiating. Inurnment at Dixie Cemetery in Stephens County will take place at a later date.

Nancy was born Thursday January 14, 1954 in Bucksville Alabama to Lee Austin and Ruby "Edelean" Grammar Pennell, and passed away from this life Sunday March 26, 2023 at her home in Wynnewood Oklahoma, at the age of 69 years, 2 months and 12 days.

Nancy met the love of her life Joe Carroll, they married on April 7,1978 and had one son, Billy "Bo" Carroll. Nancy worked at Quinton Little in Ardmore as a Production Analyst for 30 years. There she created lifelong friendships. Those that knew Nancy best will tell you; she always had a smile on her face and would easily make you laugh with her honest, and to the point, quick-witted, funny, dry personality. Nancy was a wonderful caregiver to anyone. You could depend on her for anything. Nancy also enjoyed the farming life with longtime companion Richard where she raised and rescued a variety of well-loved animals. She enjoyed cooking, traveling to visit with family, spending time outdoors horseback riding, fishing, working on her flower beds, and vegetables gardens. Her biggest joys in life were spending time with her friends, and family, but most of all her grandson Kash. Who was the light of her life, she was the best grandma ever. She loved watching him play sports, they would decorate the house for Christmas. She also loved taking him to the water park, ihop, and dog trade on weekends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents; Lee Austin and Edelean Pennell, husband Joe Carroll; son Billy "Bo" Carroll; Brother Edward Pennell; and sisters Delores and Doris Pennell. She is survived by her longtime companion Richard Ivie of Wynnewood Oklahoma; Brothers Floyd Pennell and his wife Paula of West Virginia; Keith Pennell and his wife Vonda of New Hampshire; Louise Pennell and his wife Deanne of Ohio; sister Ruby Wright of Ohio; and her grandson Kash Carroll of Lone Grove Oklahoma.
