Naomi Ruth Elliott Hall Dickenson, affectionately known as "Ruthie", a long-time resident of Dickson, OK passed away on October 6, 2021 in Forney, TX after an extended illness. Mrs. Dickenson was born on August 15, 1946 in Eunice, NM to John & Stella Elliott. She married her first husband, Albert Donald Hall in Houston, TX in 1977 and her second husband, Rev. M.E. Dickenson, in Baum, OK in 2005. She worked in a variety of vocational areas over her lifespan, starting as a licensed New Mexico cosmetologist and culminating as the Activity Director of the Dickson Senior Citizen Center.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Elizabeth Holt Elliott; a nephew, Gary Ellis Elliott; her first husband, Albert Donald Hall; her father, John Ellis Elliott; a brother, Eddie Lynn Elliott, Sr.; a nephew, Donald Duane Elliott, Jr.; her second husband, Rev. M.E. Dickenson; a sister, Odie Elizabeth Hancock; and a brother, Donald Duane Elliott, Sr.
Surviving her are: her daughter & son-in-law, Shauna (Elliott) & Hal Dickenson of Indianapolis, IN; her son & daughter-in-law, Mark & Sherry (Layne) Elliott of Forney, TX; daughter, Deanna (Hall) Lang of Austin, TX; daughter, Patsy (Hall) Henson of Corinth, MS; and daughter & son-in-law, Brandy (Hall) & Albert Stewart, Jr. of Dickson, OK; a brother, Johnny Elliott, Sr. & wife Elsie of Edmond, OK; 15 grandsons; 7 granddaughters; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, great-nephews, & great-nieces; and many, many others who lovingly called her, "Grandma".
Funeral services directed by Craddock Funeral Home will be held for Mrs. Dickenson at Baum Assembly of God Church at 351 Baum Road, Baum, OK on Monday, October 11 th at 10 am. The family will be receiving visitors on Sunday, October 10 th from 3 pm to 5 pm at Craddock Funeral home at 525 South Commerce, Ardmore, OK.
