Graveside services for Ona Fay Douthit will be Tuesday, July 3rd, at 10:00 a.m. at Provence Cemetery in Ardmore, OK with Dr. Walt Spradling officiating.

Ona Fay Douthit was born October 16, 1929 to Nettie Irene (Webb) and Edwin Lewis Eberhart in Hatton, AR. She passed from this life on June 29, 2018 surrounded by her family.

Ona Fay married Herman R. Douthit, Sr. on November 3, 1945 in Gallup, NM. From this marriage they had 4 children, Mary, James, Skip, and Ray. She enjoyed crocheting, holding her pets, and taking pictures of covered bridges and rocks. Ona Fay was also a master gardener who had one of the most beautiful flower beds in town. She was loved greatly by her family and will be sorely missed.

Ona Fay was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin Lewis and Nettie Irene Eberhart; husband Herman R. Douthit, Sr.; 2 sisters; and 1 brother.

She is survived by her sons James Douthit and his wife Joy, Skip Douthit and his wife Debra, and Ray Douthit and his wife Esther all of Ardmore; daughter Mary Hawthorne of Two Harbors, MN; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and sister Ruth Minyard.

Russell Douthit, Roger Douthit, Chris Douthit, Richard Douthit, Roger Douthit, Jr., and Brian James will serve as pallbearers.
