Obituary

Oscar Rolando Interiano Jr. was born on May 1, 1977 to Sonia and Oscar Interiano in Los Angeles, California. Oscar left this world on October 21, 2023 at the age of forty-six. Oscar attended Ardmore high school and enlisted in the United States Army in 1998. Oscar served our country for eleven years and seven months as an infantryman. While in the military, he completed his associate's degree and earned many decorations including: the Army Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Good Conduct Metal, the National Defense Service Metal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Metal, the Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon, and the Army Service Ribbon. In addition to these accomplishments, Oscar earned an Expert Infantryman Badge, a Parachutist Badge, a Basic Marksmanship Qualification Badge, and a Driver and Mechanic Badge.

In his spare time, Oscar spent many hours engaged in sports, some of his favorites were: golf, pickleball, cycling, and swimming. Some say he was so good at swimming that he was like a shark! Oscar loved listening to music, especially Pink Floyd, and sharing his love of music with his sons. Oscar was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed every moment spent with his family, friends, church, and chihuahuas. Oscar left a deep impression on this earth and will be dearly missed.

Mother Sonia E. Smith;

Father Oscar Rolando Interiano Sr.;

Sons Raphael Interiano and partner Laura Gonzalez, Zanthan Leblanc, and Oscar David Interiano;

Brother Juan Pablo Gutierrez;

Grandchildren Luka Interiano, Ivan Soto;

Cousins: Dena McGlamery, Nancy Lehman;

Special Friend: Marcus Gray;

And Beloved Chihuahuas: Nacho and Chaquita.

Preceded in death by:

Former wife: Penelope Interiano.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 28th at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ardmore, OK. Inurnment will be held Wednesday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. at the Seaman First Class Billy Turner State Veterans Cemetery in Ardmore, OK. Visitation will be held Friday, October 27th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.
