Obituary

Funeral Services for Patsy R. Miller are scheduled for Friday at 10:00 am in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating with Rev. Gene Cormier assisting.  The family will host a visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 6:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Patsy R. Miller was born June 29, 1936 in Ardmore to Amos and Bernice (Jones) Veal. She passed this life on September 17, 2019 in a local hospital. Patsy was a graduate of Ardmore High School class of 1954. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ardmore. She worked as a Secretary for several companies before she and Bill owned and operated Ritz Cleaners, including, Shell Oil, Atlantic Richfield, Ward Merrick, Sr. and the First Baptist Church.

She loved her hummingbirds and took pride in her roses. She loved to sew for her daughters and granddaughters. Patsy enjoyed baking for her loved ones and neighbors. She loved reading her daily devotionals and going on brisk walks around the neighborhood.

Patsy was preceded in death by her Parents, two sisters, Nancy Ashton and Nora Beth Garrott.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Miller of Ardmore, OK, her two daughters, Debbie Roring and her husband, Steve of Ardmore, Karen Cormier and her husband, Gene of Ardmore; her 6 grandchildren, Dr. Steven Roring and his wife, Dr. Cathy Roring of Ardmore, Lauren Oliver and her husband, Dr. Shem Oliver of Ardmore, Ryan Roring of Norman, Dustin Haney and wife, Crystal of Edmond, Dylan Haney of Edmond, Kaitlyn Mapp and her husband, Chase of Augusta, Ga.; 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 more due in March.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dr. Steven Roring, Ryan Roring, Dustin Haney, Dylan Haney, Dr. Shem Oliver and Ray Fulton. Honorary Pallbearer will be Gene Cormier and Steve Roring, Sr.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Southbrook Healthcare, the Mercy Nurses of 2C and Stephenson Cancer Center of Oklahoma City.
