Patsy Shields passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 90. She enjoyed a lengthy career at Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois and retired in 1998 to Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She was a wonderful mother who was always there for her family and friends when they needed her. She lived a long and fruitful life. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Ardmore, Oklahoma.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Shields. She is survived by her husband of 72 years Rodney Shields of Ardmore, Oklahoma; son, Gary (Pam) Shields of Enid, Oklahoma; daughter, Jana (Sal) Martinez of Forney, Texas; grandchildren, Greg (Gayle Littleton) Shields, Danielle Shields, JT (Angela) Shields, Alex (Savana) Martinez and Carmen Martinez.  She was very loved and will be missed terribly.
