Funeral services for Paula Ann Barbour will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ardmore, Oklahoma with Reverend Donny Custar officiating. Committal services will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery with Jordan Barbour, Joshua Barbour, Wesley Boone, Bryan Merritt, Lawton Tyson, and Kat Shadron serving as pallbearers.

Paula was born Tuesday August 12, 1958, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Harry Green and Peggy Ruth (Harkins) Fore and lost her battle with cancer on January 13, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 67 years, 5 months and 1 day.

Paula received her education in Ardmore and graduated from Ardmore High school with the Class of 1976. She married Mitchel Kent Barbour in Ardmore, Oklahoma on Saturday September 4, 1982, and they celebrated their 43rd anniversary last fall. Paula worked for a number of years at the Uniroyal Tire Plant and with the  Noble Research Foundation ending her career with American Nation Bank. Paula attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ardmore. She saw beauty in everyone around her and always with a smile. She had great faith in God and a true inspiration to others. She had a passion for cooking, and her homemade toffee was wanted by all. Paula loved traveling and going to concerts. She found so much joy spending family time with her husband and sons along with her cocker spaniels (Cash and Bru).

She is survived by her husband, Mitchel Kent Barbour; sons Jordan Barbour and Joshua Barbour; sisters, Pam Fore Boone and her husband, Bob and Patricia Fore Merritt. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces along with great nephews and nieces.
