Obituary

Peggy Sue Koscheski Evers was born June 14th 1944. She passed away in Oklahoma City on June 30th, 2023. She was born to Mildred and Elmer Koscheski in Sayre, OK. She attended school in Sweetwater, OK. Later her family moved to Marietta OK. where she resumed her education.  She was a proud little sister to three big brothers, Allen, Bill and Bob Koscheski.

Peg was known by many people from her bookkeeping years of employment at Town and Country Animal Hospital, Ardmore Animal Hospital, Holiday Inn, and Versatile Helicopters.

After retiring, she spent time volunteering through Daughters of the American Revolution, tutoring students at Jefferson Elementary, and enjoying grandkids on the family farm.

She loved her church family and they loved her! She served as the volunteer financial secretary at Rawhide Cowboy Church for many years. She assisted in Children's Church and helped behind the scenes in children's ministry when needed.

Loved ones left behind will miss her greatly and include children, Mark and Aylisa Marion of Ardmore, Lee Anne Singleton, Ardmore, Randy Evers, Oklahoma City.

Grandchildren, April Marion, Ardmore, Kyle and Shanda Singleton, Anton, TX. Great grands, Brent, Maddy, Johnny, and Ben Singleton, Anton, TX, and Chloe' Mueller of Ardmore, OK. as well as dear nieces, nephews, sister-in-loves and friends that are considered family.

Peg was to be wed to Frankie Vaughn of Marietta, OK. on June 10th but she became ill which led to her passing.

She loved Jesus and from her hospital bed was making Him known to everyone who stepped into her room. She lived her life holding onto the promises of God and through her death she would want Him to be glorified.

Peg's Celebration Service will be held on Saturday July 8th, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Rawhide Cowboy Church of Carter County, located at 1405 Gene Autry Rd. in Ardmore, OK.

Her pastor and friend, Undersheriff Trent Daniel will be officiating. Trent and his wife Bre along with their children Cheyenne, Blair, Hank and Sutton were considered her own and brought her much joy.

In lieu of flowers, please bless through donations to the Rawhide Cowboy Church Building Fund.
