Randall Britt Harvey was born July 18, 1962 in Irving, Texas to Jack and Billie McMullin Harvey. He was a good man with a great heart. His spirit and generosity inspired many throughout his life.

Randy was a father, brother, uncle and son that lived for his family. He loved his sons fiercely and dreamed of dancing at their weddings. He sadly never got that chance as he passed away on November 24th 2023.

Randy loved life and made the most of his time. He liked to skydive, snow ski, golf, travel, watch movies and sports. He was an avid reader who always knew what was going on in the world and always had an opinion. Randy never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. People gravitated to his fun loving nature and lust for life.

He loved family gatherings and being the center of family banter, especially with his sisters Jacci, Sandee and Julie. He was an excellent cook and was particularly proud of his gravy. He lived life by his own rules and had a magnetic personality that drew people in, leaving a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to know him. He was one of a kind, and it is difficult to imagine this world without him in it.

Randy loved to work and he was good at it. Many of his friends and family benefited from his leadership in the construction industry. He would proudly talk about his work at Texas Motor Speedway, Omni Hotel FW, Tinker Air Force Base and countless others. He liked to brag that he built The Texas Giant at Six Flags.

He was a deeply religious man and talked to God often. His faith and spiritual relationships guided him throughout his life and comforted him in his last days.

Randy is survived in death by his sons Randon and Shane Harvey and countless other family and friends. He battled cancer and its effects bravely but ultimately succumbed with his closest loved ones at his side. A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, December 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at The Craddock Memorial Chapel in Ardmore.

They say grief feels like having your heart broken open and of course that hurts, but it's also proof of love. Randy will be forever loved and dearly missed.
