Funeral services for Raymond Allison Sadler are scheduled for Friday, April 8, 2022, at 2:00 pm in The Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. Donny Custer Officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will have a visitation, Thursday evening from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Raymond Allison Sadler was born on October 3, 1930, in Springer, OK, to William Jefferson Sadler and Mary Evie (Blassingame) Sadler. He passed this life on April 4, 2022, at his residence in Ardmore, OK at the age of 91.
He and Rozella Edwards married on December 23, 1948, in Ardmore, OK.
Raymond was the owner and operator of The Tower Gulf service station and Ray's Tower Gulf Towing and was a dealer for U-Haul for over 30 years. He loved square dancing and riding motorcycles.
If he couldn't remember your name, he would just call you Pistol Pete.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Jason England, Paul Smith, Matthew Smith, Tyler Sadler, Morgan Sadler, and Mark Goodin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Jefferson and Mary Evie (Blassingame) Sadler, wife Rozella Sadler in 2004, sister Evelyn Oleta (Sadler) Edwards and husband Harrison Berry "Buck" Edwards Jr., daughter Glenda Louise (Sadler) Smith and husband Donald Lee Smith
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Pat Goodin and husband, Mark of Edmond, OK; Mike Sadler and his wife, Beverly of Ardmore, OK; grandchildren, Jason England and wife, Katie of Broken Arrow, OK; Aleshia Coble of Bixby, OK; James Smith of Pueblo, CO; Paul Smith and wife, Kimberly of Lone Gove, OK; Matthew Smith and wife, Tania of Oklahoma City, OK; Erin Sadler of Carrolton, TX; Tyler Sadler and fiancé, April of Arlington, TX; Morgan Sadler and CiCi of Bedford, TX; 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
