Funeral services for Rex Allan Warner will be 2:00 pm Saturday August 10, 2024, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Larry Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Ryan Green, Matt Hacker, Juan Gomez, Jett Carr, Charles Thomson, and Steve Vaughn serving as pallbearers. Visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 9th from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rex Warner, husband, father, grandaddy and loyal friend. Rex left this world on August 5, 2024, surrounded by love, and covered in prayers.

Our hearts and our homes will forever be missing a piece of the puzzle. Rex was a true friend to many, known for his warm spirit, dry sense of humor and for being the Oklahoma Sooners #1 fan!!  Rex's passion for justice and fairness was evident in every conversation. Somebody once said, he had the cutest frown! Rex was the kind of person who loved you unconditionally, even when he didn't agree with you. His loyalty knew no bounds; if you needed him, he was there with a helping hand or his signature dad hugs that made everything better. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Born and raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Rex was a graduate of Ardmore High School class of 69' and a member of the PI KAPPA ALPHA fraternity at ECU in Ada. He married the love of his life, Elsie Warner, they created the most beautiful family and enjoyed over 40 wonderful years together. They raised a daughter and a son who would later promote them to GeGe and Grandaddy status, which was their favorite season in life. His passion for his family was unwavering, and his love ran deep. He took immense pride in his family's happiness and well-being. Opening his heart and home to many, he had the remarkable ability to make everyone feel like part of the family. Rex had dedicated many years of his life to the Michelin Tire plant, where he also created many friendships that felt like family over the years.

Rex leaves behind his loving wife, Elsie Warner; granddaughter, Madison Wicker; son, Kevin Warner, and wife Lenzie, with granddaughters, Piper Warner & Rhys Warner; grandson, Asher Gomez, and his mother Laci Littleton-Gómez; brother Gary Warner; beloved sister in laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Rex was preceded in death by his cherished daughter, Megan Wicker, his beloved grandson Kreed Warner, and parents Elmer and Marjorie Warner with his baby brother.

Rest in peace, Rex. You will be forever missed. Boomer Sooner!
