Richard Arlen Tidwell was born January 27, 1955 to Jo Rheta (Rutledge) and Cole Winston Tidwell in Wichita Falls, TX. He passed from this life on October 11, 2021 at the age of 66.

Rick graduated from Stratford High School in the class of 1973. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. On December 16 ^th, 1975 he married Suzanne Forsness in Great Falls, MT. From this marriage they had two children, Cole and Lara. They became members of the Mclish Avenue Church of Christ in 1983 Rick began working at Uniroyal Tire Company in 1977 and remained there until his retirement 30 years later. He also worked at Mercy Hospital and Walmart in Ardmore after his retirement.

Rick was an avid NASCAR fan and also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys play.

Rick was preceded in death by his father Cole Winston Tidwell and son, Cole Tidwell.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne Tidwell of the home; daughter Lara Austin and her husband Bobby of Ardmore; brother Joe David Tidwell and his wife Phyllis; sister Deborah Sue "Susie" Tidwell; grandchildren Clayton and Ashlyn Austin; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 16 ^th at the Mclish Avenue Church of Christ at 11:00 a.m. with minister Joseph Harris officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.
