Obituary

Rickey E. Jolly was born October 20, 1949 in Wynnewood, OK. to A.U. Jolly and Eula (Cash) Jolly. He passed from this life on January 2, 2019 in Ardmore at the age of 69. Rickey graduated from Springer High School in 1968. He and Julie Hamon were married on August 25, 1975 in Ardmore and were married for 43 years. He was a lifelong resident of this area. Rickey was a supervisor at Michelin Tire Company until he retired in 1996. He enjoyed playing pool, noodling and loved bass fishing. He and his brother Calvin would get into a tournament anywhere and anytime they could. He cherished his family, his children and grandchildren.

Rickey was preceded in death by his parents A.U. and Eula Jolly; brother Calvin Jolly and sisters Virginia Russell and Christine Phillips. He is survived by his wife Julie of the home; sons Dustin Jolly of Springer, Joshua Jolly and wife Jennifer of Healdton, Shane Martin; brother Earnest Jolly of Springer; sister Barbara Sheffield and husband David of North Carolina; grandchildren Tatum Jolly of Springer, Ayden Jolly of Lone Grove, Dalton "Scooter" Jolly of Healdton, Justus Jolly of Healdton, Piper Jolly of Healdton; best friend Randy Putman of Springer and many other loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. There will be a private memorial at a later date.
