Robert Daryl Dillon was born July 30, 1932 to Alice (Dearing) and D.A. Dillon in Oklahoma City, OK. He passed from this life on June 27, 2023 at the age of 90.

Robert was a graduate of Piedmont High School in the class of 1951. Upon graduation he enlisted with the United States Navy and proudly served in the Korean War. He graduated from Central State in Edmond and earned a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry. On July 27, 1957 he married Patsy Lee (Burnett) in Hartshorne, OK. From this marriage they had three children Alice, Madelon, and Robert, Jr.

Robert was an avid reader and loved watching old westerns. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a chemist until his retirement.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents D.A. and Alice Dillon; wife Patsy Dillon; sister Jane; and daughter Madelon.

He is survived by his daughter Alice Krehbiel and her husband Steve; son Robert Dillon, Jr. and his partner Lisa Moss; 5 grandchildren, Dillon Cobb and his wife Katie and Mason Cobb and his wife Rachel of Burlington, North Carolina, Zachary Krehbiel and Benjamin Krehbiel of Oklahoma City, and Baylee Dillon of Dallas, Texas, ; and 6 great grandchildren, Cooper Allen, Blake and Wyatt Cobb, Levi Cobb, Lucas Dillon, and Mila Dillon.

Graveside services with military honors are scheduled for Monday, July 3rd at 1:30 p.m. at Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
