Roberta was born to Gussie Lee Rutledge and Robert Andy Smith December 26, 1940 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Roberta and her family moved to Berwyn in 1945 where she made many friends and was a very talented musician-playing guitar and piano for her friends. Roberta was saved by Grace and was of the Baptist faith.

Roberta married Gary Robinson, Sr. in 1957 and graduated from Berwyn in 1958. Gary was in the USAF and they were stationed at airbases in Lincoln, NB, Tuscan, AZ and Bossier City, LA., taking her beloved chihuahua with them. Together they had a son Gary Robinson, Jr.

Roberta married Thurman Cullins, June 23, 1983 and moved to Fort Worth, TX. After the death of her husband and son, she was moved to Whispering Oaks Nursing Home in Ardmore, OK with Alzheimer's. Roberta passed away there December 4, 2021 at the age of 80 years, 11 months, and 8 days.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, Thurman; son, Gary Jr.; brother, Jim and his wife, Winnie; niece, Janice Lynn; nephew, Bruce Brightwell, and brother in law, Sam Brightwell. Survivors are her sister, Barbara Brightwell; niece, Brenda; nephew, Robert Wayne; cousin, Jo Lee Foster, several great nieces, nephews and three step children, Jennie, Georganna, and Dewayne.

Graveside services will be Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 11:00 AM at Young Cemetery with Rev. Ron Elmore officiating. Online condolences may be made at craddockfuneralhome.com.
