Funeral services for Ronald Lynn "Ronnie" Wooten will be held Friday at 12:00 pm in the Craddock Memorial Chapel and burial will follow at the Provence Cemetery with Travis Lowe, Taj Lowe, Tember Lowe, Teiger Lowe, Cory Harris, and Shane Pruitt serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be Dee Davis. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.

Ronnie was born Friday August 10, 1956, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Milton C. and Billie Sue (Robinson) Wooten and died Friday September 13, 2024, in Arlington, Texas at the age of 68 years, 1 month and 3 days.

Ronnie was a 1974 graduate of Lone Grove High School. He attended college for a brief time and joined the United States Air Force. While in the Air Force, he served with the 35th Field Maintenance Squad as an Aircraft Environmental System Mechanic. Immediately upon his discharge, he left George Air Force Base in California and drove straight through to get back home to Lone Grove.

He married Cindie Harris on December 13, 1975, and they were married for 36 years and had two children together. He spent many years at Uniroyal working in Stock Prep. He loved his family and his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and was a huge New York Giants fan. He and his son Ryan made an annual trip to watch his Giants play the Dallas Cowboys. He was a people pleaser and had a huge, huge heart.  He had attended church in Arlington, Texas where he had resided for several years. Doug McPherson was Ronnies Pastor at the Mayfield Baptist Church shares the following: "I Will tell you a couple quick memories I have of Ron. Last November, we asked for volunteers to help us decorate the church for Christmas. It often takes half the day or more. Ron was there, working hard and stayed till it was finished-and it got done much quicker than normal. He also helped us with our monthly food giveaway, working in all manners of weather to get food to our neighbors in need. I learned from one of our members that he mowed her lawn frequently when she needed it and did the same for another widow in our neighborhood. He had a heart to serve others."

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents; an infant sister, Danita Hogg; brother, Charles Douglas "Sonny" Wooten on May 3, 2024; daughter, Ami Michelle (Wooten) Lowe on November 8, 2014. He is survived by his former wife and mother of his children, Cindie Coffman; son, Ryan Lynn Wooten, and his wife Lacy; sister, Anita Ashley; son-in-law, Travis Lowe and his spouse Amber; grandchildren, Trevor, Edie, Dash, Taj, Tember and his spouse Audrey, and Teiger; great granddaughter, Amilia Lowe.
