Sandra attended Ardmore City Schools from the first through the 11 th grade at the time the family moved to Snyder, Oklahoma where she graduated from High school in 1961. Sandra attended Murray State College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. She grew up in Ardmore where she met and married Waylan D. Morris on November 20 th , 1964, in the McClure Chapel at the First Methodist Church.
Sandra was a strong-willed lady who loved living a simple life. She was perfectly content spending time at home with her husband. She enjoyed traveling this great land of ours with their friends, Fad and Jerri Day. However, the thing she enjoyed most in life was being a Nan/Nenaw to her grandchildren, which she loved dearly. She loved having the family over for Holidays especially Christmas morning where they all enjoyed lots of bacon and pancakes.
Sandra spent her entire adult life working as a bookkeeper in the oil and gas industry. Her last jobs were working in the family office and Orr Oil and Gas. These last two jobs she showed up ready to work until July 1, 2022, when she became ill. She was known in the Daube Building as being very meticulous and the tax accountants were always happy to receive information from her because of its accuracy.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years 11 months and 3 days; son, Britt Morris of Ardmore; grandchildren, Maddie Rae Morris; john William Morris II; Jack Britton Morris; Isabelle Grace Morris, Ava Morris; Liva Lide and Landon Lide.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Roger Day, Rodney Day, Rick Orr, John Orr, Don Dickson and Dr. Jeff Cumming.
