Obituary

Graveside services for Sandra Kay Noland, of Ardmore, Oklahoma will be at 10:00 am Saturday, July 15, 2023, at Rosehill Cemetery in Ardmore with Ron Benedick officiating. Assisting as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cole King, Tyler Hartsell, Travis King, and Isaiah King.

Sandra was born Wednesday October 18, 1944, in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Arby D. and LaVerne (Smith) McMullin and died Tuesday July 11, 2023, in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 24 days.

Sandra was a Dickson High School graduate with the class of 1962. She worked as a hairdresser for many years in various shops. Later in life she continued her education at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond obtaining her Career Technology teacher certificate. She retired from Southern Oklahoma Technology Center in 2009 having been a cosmetology instructor. She married the father of her children, Larry R. King, on May 26, 1962. She was a member of the Merrick Drive Church of Christ in Ardmore. On August 12, 1996, she married Julian F. Noland. She enjoyed traveling with Julian and her family, including camping, and attending sporting events for her grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Billie Harvey; brother, Arby D. "Dee" McMullin and great grandson Beau King. She is survived by her sons, Greg King and his wife Michelle of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Brad King and his wife Jennifer of Ardmore, Oklahoma; daughter, Jan Hartsell and her husband Robert of Ardmore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kailey, Cole, Keely, Isaiah and Travis King, Ashton and Tyler Hartsell of Ardmore, Oklahoma and Zack Webb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; great grandchildren, Cooper Reynolds, Adam Robinson, Layla Betterton, Holland Hartsell; sisters, Sherry Putnam and her husband Jim of Arlington, Texas, Lynda Wright and her husband James of Ardmore, Oklahoma.
