Sara Louise Scott

Funeral services for Sara Louise Scott are scheduled for Monday, January 28th at Craddock Memorial Chapel with Dr. Walt Spradling officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.

Sara Louise Scott was born August 11, 1938 to Rose (Campbell) and Rae White in Grandfield, OK. She passed from this life on January 23, 2019 at the age of 80.

Sara was a graduate of Ardmore High School in the class of 1956. Upon graduation she spent 1 year at Oklahoma State University before returning back to Ardmore. Sara worked as a clerk at the Health Department for 24 years. She had a passion for exercise and was even a drill team instructor at Ardmore High School. Sara also enjoyed tending to her flowers, reading, old musical movies, watching her squirrels, and visiting with her good friends.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Rose Skidmore and her biological father Rae White.

Sara is survived by her son, Kevin McGuire and his fiancé, Debra Neu of Ardmore; daughter, Kelly McGuire of Billings, OK; brothers, Rae White, Jr. and his wife, Mary of Houston, TX and Alan White and his wife, Linda of Burns Flat, OK; half-sister, Kathy Rowe and her husband, Jim of Fort Worth, TX; half brother, Eddie Skidmore and his wife, R.K. of Ardmore; grandchildren, Nick Parker, Hollie Parker, and Ryan Neu; 2 great grandsons; and lifelong friends Paula, Pat, Adolphine, Guilda, and the rest of the gang.

Nick Parker, Ryan Neu, Larry Elrod, Mike Wallace, Rodney Crawley, and Jon McCutchen will serve as pallbearers.
