Stephen Dale "Stevo" Maxwell

Funeral services for Stephen Dale "Stevo" Maxwell will be Saturday, July 6, 2019 10:00 AM at the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Hatfield officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Rosehill Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Friday from 5-6 PM at the funeral home.

Stephen was born July 7, 1984 in Ardmore to Stephen Leon Maxwell and Cathy (Connick) Maxwell. He passed from this life on June 30, 2019 in Ardmore at the age of 34. He and Tyler Smith were married on October 17, 2014 in Ardmore.

Stevo enjoyed riding his Harley with Tyler, spending time with his children, his family and friends. You could usually find him working in his shop on whatever project he had going on at the time. He was an Army veteran and especially proud of that. But his greatest joy was his children Adyn and Kamryn.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Dale and Jean Maxwell, Patsy and Eldon Byers, Vondell Flowers and father-in-law; Steve Smith.

Stephen is survived by his wife Tyler of the home, son; Adyn Stephen Dale Maxwell, daughter; Kamryn Ann Maxwell, both of the home, parents; Steve and Sharon Maxwell of Ardmore, brothers; Ricky Hickman and wife Brooke of Madill, OK, Joe Baldwin and wife Sarah of Stillwater, OK, sister; Jodie Dudley and husband Paul of Ardmore, mother and father-in-law; Carol and Gary Grantham of New Mexico, grandmother; Wanda Flowers of Madill, grandparents; John Jackson and Janis Conner of Hurst, TX, special friends; Erika Riggs, Josh Blount, Daryl Wilsie, Henry Davis, Randall Reynolds, Joe Baldwin, Ricky Hickman, Belinda and Donnie Callaway, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Josh Blount, Daryl Wilsie, Henry Davis, Randall Reynolds, Joe Baldwin and Ricky Hickman. Honorary bearers are Kody "Waffle" Overby and Ryan Broughton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials for his children may be made in memory of Stephen Maxwell c/o Communications Federal Credit Union 1549 N. Rockford Road, Ardmore, OK 73401.

Per request of his children, please wear bright casual clothes.
