Susan Lee McCarty was born September 21, 1963 to Richard and Seveta McCarty in Amarillo, TX. She passed from this life on April 5, 2022 at the age of 58.

Susan was a graduate of Lone Grove High School in the class of 1981. She began her career as a security guard in 2006 working for Gold Mountain Casino. Susan married Wendy Davis on September 13, 1997.

Susan enjoyed her free time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Richard and Seveta McCarty.

She is survived by her wife Wendy McCarty; children Stanley Armstrong III, Aaron Armstrong and his wife Kila, and Ashley Cooper and her husband John; sister Janet Landers; aunt Sandra Young; and grandchildren Ryan, Emelynn, Brooklen, Shelbie, Gunner, and Wesley Armstrong and Myles and Claire Cooper.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 9 ^th from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Craddock Funeral Home.
