Sylvia Harrell was born April 16, 1938, in Oklahoma City, Ok to J.A and Helen Belle Merrell Roberson. She passed this life on Dec. 5, 2022, in Ardmore.

The family held a private family burial, but plans are being made for a memorial service at a later date.

Sylvia was raised in Ardmore and graduated from Ardmore High School. She later attended Stephens College in Columbia MO, and also attended The University of Hawaii. She loved to travel with family and friends. Sylvia was from the generation that wasn't afraid to get involved.  She served her community well, volunteering for numerous organizations around Ardmore over the years. Some included, the soup kitchen, CASA, The Garden Club and served on the Ardmore Cemetery board. She was also one of the founders of the Oak Hall School. She was an oil and gas producer.

She is survived by her three sons, Wes Fore and his wife Kristi of Lone Grove, Chris Fore and his wife Caren of Whitesboro, Tx., and Truett Fore of Ardmore; grandchildren, Bryce Hunter and wife Meredith of Chicago, Ill., Christopher Lee Williams and wife Jennifer of Ardmore, Ok, Taylor and Ryan Smith of Lone Grove and Traci Lang of Wilson, Ok; great-grandchild, Ari.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brother, David Andrew Roberson and Max Stirling Roberson.
