Terry Kenneth Little

Terry Kenneth Little was born on May 8, 1940, in South Bend, Indiana, to Gerold and Velma Little. He was raised in Amarillo, Texas, where he graduated from Amarillo High School in May 1958. He attended the University of North Texas for two years before transferring to West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas. It was there that he met the love of his life, Ginny Sue Johnson. They were married on October 26, 1963, and together they raised three children: David, Kelley, and Mark.

Terry joined the United States Air Force in the spring of 1962 and served during the Vietnam War. His military service took him to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Kadena Air Base in Okinawa, Japan.

In 1972, Terry and his family moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma, where they made their home. A natural entrepreneur, Terry owned and operated several businesses until 1989, when he began working for Texas Instruments in Lewisville, Texas. In 1998, he joined the Noble Foundation, where he worked in the IT department until his retirement in 2011.

Terry enjoyed many things in life, including playing golf and cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He was also a talented woodworker who took great pride in creating furniture. More than the pieces he made, Terry loved sharing his work with others.

Terry was an active member of Christ Community Church, where he served faithfully as an elder for many years. His faith was central to his life and was evident in the way he lived. His love for God and his steadfast spirit was reflected in both his words and his actions, leaving a lasting impression on the lives he touched.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerold and Velma Little; his brother, Gary; and his son, Mark.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 63 years, Ginny; his son, David, and daughter-in-law, Angela, and their children, Cooper and Paxton; and his daughter, Kelley, and her husband, Arnie, and their family: Cas and his wife, Saraya; Jake; and Anna and her husband, Gus. He is also survived by his great-grandson, Myles. Additionally, he leaves behind Mark’s stepchildren, Brittany Tate and Dalton Keeton, and their families.

Terry will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, veteran, and friend. His life was marked by hard work, dedication, and a vast love for the Lord. The love he shared with his family and friends will remain a lasting part of his legacy.
