Thomas Duayne Moore

Thomas Duayne Moore was born on Wednesday, September 28, 1932, in Kopperl, Texas, to Thomas Giles and Loyce (McBride) Moore, and died on Monday, August 3, 2026, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, at the age of 93 years, 10 months, and 6 days.

Duayne owned a beverage franchise for many years. He enjoyed coaching his son’s baseball/basketball teams and tinkering with automobiles, and was an avid lover of flag football, Texas Longhorn athletics, and watching westerns.

In 1956, Duayne married Bobbie Lee McChesney, and they had 3 children: Robert Duayne Moore, Laura Lee Riggs, and Dana Marie Moore. He later married Tiffany Marie McCoy, and to this union 3 additional children were born: Dylan McCoy Moore, Dalton Montana Moore, who died at birth, and McKinley Kyle Moore.

Duayne was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas & Loyce Moore; infant son, Dalton Montana Moore, and his first wife, Bobbie Lee McChesney Moore. He leaves behind his 5 children; grandchildren, Jessica Madden, Natalie Piland, Catherine Harmon, Stephanie Paige Shappia, Chesney Moore; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Dale Moore; niece, Rhonda Moore Strickland, and a nephew, Ronald Moore.

Duayne requested that no funeral service be held and a private, family-only memorial service be held at a later date. Honorary pallbearers will be his sons, great-grandsons, and his longtime friend, Jimmy Fagan.
