Funeral services for Virginia Lee "Jenny" Roberts will be at 2:00 pm Friday, May 30, 2025, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Tom Riley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lone Grove West Memorial Cemetery with Kris Johnson, Mark Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Robert Johnson, Cooper Ratliff, Hunter Treadwell, Aaron Clements, and Brody Wilson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky, Randy, and Rusty Putman.

Jenny was born Sunday October 20, 1940, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Gilbert and Stella Lee (Coffey) Stogsdill and died Monday May 26, 2025, in Lone Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 6 days.

Jenny was born on what some would call the Sweetest Day, and everyone would say she was SWEET! While in high school she was a Rodeo Queen. Her favorite horse was a gray one "Ole Lady," and a sorrel named Rusty. She attended college at Oklahoma State University and married Joe Dee Roberts on January 8, 1960, in Lubbock, Texas and they made their home in Irving, Texas for a number of years. She and Joe cherished their three girls and all of the grandchildren. She was proud of her Faith, Family and Friends. She always showed up for her family and was proud of her Tribe (family)! She was a proud Chickasaw and loved her trips with the Chickasaw seniors and was a member of the Chickasaw Nation Historical Society where one of her favorite things was researching genealogy. "Honest Injun" was her nickname, and she used that for her CB handle. She was a member of the Wilson Methodist Church and loved her church and church family.

Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patty Coker and Betty Crabb, and granddaughter, Lillian Maria Johnson. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Joe Roberts of Lone Grove, Oklahoma; daughters, Jana Sloan and her husband Morris, Shawnna Johnson and her husband Gerald, and Gina Taylor and her husband Todd of LaRue, Texas; grandchildren, Courtney (Carey) Lee and their children Braxton & Bellamy, Kennedi (Cooper) Ratliff and their children Bexleigh & Cutter, Kylee (Hunter) Treadwell, Elizabeth (Geoff) Hodge and their children Miranda & Anthony, Kristopher (Lauren) Johnson and their children Henry & Sammy, Mark (Friederike) Johnson and their children Thomas & Kathleen, Joseph (Dayna) Johnson and their child Mackenzie, Robert (Reide) Johnson and their children Bentley, Connor, Gunner & Harper, Danielle (Aaron) Clements, Dixie (Brody) Wilson and their child Bear, and Delaney and a beloved family dog, Ofi.
