Wanda Hess, previously Wanda Burdett, passed away at her home in Ardmore, Oklahoma on February 26, 2023, after her long battle with dementia.

Wanda was born March 12, 1931, in Duncan, Oklahoma, later married and moved to Ardmore. Wanda met Dave Hess and was happily married for 31 years. She was very active in her church and loved to sing in the choir. She loved traveling, game night with friends, and the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Dave Hess, and grandson, Michael Johnson.

She is survived by her three children, Shirley Rogers, Lisa Lee, and Richard Johnson; her four grandchildren, Laura Stephenson, Michael Lee, Danielle Rogers, and Whitney Johnson; and her four greatgrandchildren, Taylor Stephenson, Cuyler Stephenson, Blake Thedford, and Harper Johnson.

The viewing will be held at Craddock Funeral Home, Ardmore, on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. Services will be held at Craddock Funeral Home on March 1, 2023, at 2:00 pm with Dr. Alton Fannin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to First Baptist Church of Ardmore and the Dementia Society of America.
