William James "Bill" Boone, Jr.

OKC resident, William James "Bill" Boone, Jr., passed away from this life March 29, 2018 at St. Anthony's Hospital in OKC. He was born to William James Boone, Sr. and Evalyn (Halpin) Owen on January 13, 1954 in Ardmore.

Bill attended Ardmore High School graduating in the class of 1972. He then attended SOSU in Durant. He spent most of his adult life in OKC as a barber/hair dresser. Bill enjoyed researching his family history, antique shopping attending music concerts, particularly classic rock bands and watching Major League Baseball. He was also a lifelong bowler. Bill was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his father William James Boone, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Evalyn Owen, brother, Bob Boone and wife, Pam; sister, Lynette Patterson and husband, Gary, all of Ardmore. One niece, Jennifer Boone of Austin, TX., and four nephews, Matt Harris and wife, Jennifer of Edmond, Wesley Boone and wife, Mindy of Mountain View, Kelby Price of Midland, TX, Blake Price of Stillwater and three great nephews. He had a very special aunt and uncle, Jim and Alma Snyder of Fayetteville, GA.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
