William (Bill) Craig Collier:

Born June 28, 1953 in Altus, Oklahoma to Alton and Louise Collier, passed away to the Glory of Heaven on April 14, 2024 in Gainesville, Texas.

He lived in Los Angeles in the early 80s working for Baxter Travenol. Returned to Oklahoma in 1987 and started law school and finished law school with a JD from the University of Oklahoma in 1991 and returned to California. He lived in Santa Barbara, Sacramento, Sunnyvale, Vacaville, and settling in Mariposa in 2005.

He moved back to Oklahoma in 2022, after a short time in Sulphur before moving to Ardmore. He kept busy by joining two gyms, working out daily, and loved swimming in the pools. He made many friends, mostly ladies, which he enjoyed going to movies and dining with. He also loved sharing Braums ice cream with anyone, especially his nieces and nephews. His kind hearted, helpful attitude and spiritual teaching led him to help anyone he could.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints most of his life and served as a Clerk for many years with the Mariposa Ca. Ward. He was a huge supporter of the Boy Schouts in both Oklahoma and California serving as a Scoutmaster. He loved to help people with legal issues pro bono and also volunteered at local soup kitchens when his health allowed. He loved to garden, cook, write, paint, and draw, take care of his orchard, home and property in Mariposa. He spent his free time serving others and spending as much time as possible with family and friends. He led his life with the message "Love one another".

He never met a stranger, enjoyed conversations, especially about current events. He had strong opinions about Christ, the governments, and the "Truth". Loved by all who knew him and he will be missed.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents George and Mandy Collier, Elwin and Pauline Brooks, Parents Alton and Louise Brooks Collier, Brothers Brooks and Gary and Sister Holly.

Left behind to cherish memories of good times with Bill are his Children Brandon, Katelyn and Brittany, Siblings Mary and Terry plus many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Fairmount Cemetery, N 1700 Road, Hollis, OK 73550. Reception to follow at Western Sizzlin, 3200 North Main Street, Altus, OK 73521.
